Big Edge Designs Proudly Supports Charity Hair Donation Campaign
MALACCA (23 April 2024) – Big Edge Designs (M) Sdn. Bhd. proudly supported the “Locks of Hope” charity event, organized by MUCM’s Asian Medical Students’ Association (AMSA MUCM) in partnership with the Locks of Hope Association and DeReve Saloon. The event collected hair donations from 54 individuals to create wigs for cancer patients.
The campaign also featured a charity haircut session with 37 participants and was officiated by Kota Laksamana State Assemblyman, YB Low Chee Leong, who donated RM1,000 to the cause. Each wig requires hair from at least six donors, highlighting the significance of every contribution.
In addition to raising awareness, the event included free health screenings and creative workshops to engage the public. These activities reflected the campaign’s goal of spreading positivity and supporting cancer patients.
